I think it was Ronald Reagan who said something along the lines of 'Once you've seen one tree, you've seen them all'. I think the same could be applied to politicians these days.

But I digress. Planting trees is one thing I do that I do not have to discuss with God (aka ... if it be thy will O Lord...). Occasionally I have to hard prune some olive trees, or cut down a diseased tree; I don't like doing it. Great pictures again, thank you Jo. Your deep appreciation of Nature not only comes across heartfelt in your writings, but I'm sure carries a vibe much appreciated in some other realm of Nature Herself. ('The plants respond to the shadow of the gardener').

🥰 Thank you Josh for seeing and feeling that. Yes I truely believe my indoor plants also respond to me. Some may call me crazy!

"Once you've seen one tree, you've seen them all." Absolute blasphemy!!

Get that yellow hat on! Screaming, and blessing, praying and professing vibes for awareness, care, and regrowth. Hug whatever you can for us up here in Canada. We love our trees. I’m lucky to live in a place called the forest city as it’s slogan. The roots of the trees way up here touch the ones way down under. Bless you Jo! Keep us posted on that celebration! 🌲 🌳 ❤️

There are a number of vigils been needed recenly. My heart will be at your vigil ... trees are a celebration, even in memory. This is a very fine evocation you have written!

Beautiful Jo....thank you. I visited Wanaka in 1972...a magical magical place that today still acts as the place I go to in my mind's eye when I meditate. Thank you for loving it and loving its beautiful trees.

Hello Ian and welcome here 😊. Thank you for reading. Wow, 1972 that was the year I was born. Wanaka would have changed a fair bit since then! But the mountains and lake and sky and trees ( some of them...) are still there. Beautiful to think you meditate on this place still. 🙏

Thanks Jo. You know how certain experiences stay with us for all of our lives. I have one of walking into the lake at Wanaka, up to my neck and then drinking the beautiful beautiful chilly water as I stood there.🙂 Then diving under and being able to see...without goggles...like I was above the water. Magnificent!

Such a stunning memory. It's still like that in a lot of places. 😊💛 Our lake water quality is under threat though so conscious decision making and awareness are required to keep it as it is in your meditations. 😊

Entrancing, Jo, thank you, and I wish I could be there for the special event. Interestingly, my novella, 'BENCH, A Story of wonder' is about a boy, a homeless man, and a Kauri tree beginning as a seed aloft in the stellar winds 5000 years ago. Trees have spoken to me for a long time; their language is binding.

I'm glad you are there loving on the trees that remain. I will be hiking in my state forest tomorrow morning and will be doing the same. It is my favorite place in the whole world. Can you please explain the significance of your yellow hat? Keep hugging those trees.

You'll probably be breathing in the forest as I write this Nancy. Enjoy. 💚

My yellow hat? 😊. No great significance except that I love yellow and when I originally thought I would write an invite to my community I imagined that my yellow hat would allow people to find me. 😊🌳

I will be chanting and praying and singing and dancing and sending loving vibes with you Jo, to all trees living and sadly gone... Ive known many such trees, watched them disappear one by one from my hill to make way for bigger, faster machines, my heart breaks for every one! Trees are so much more than we can ever know or understand... I will be silent for a while right now in memory of them all xxx

I love to be in the trees and hear their whispers. I will be there wearing my green hat (more my colour) in spirit. I often think of they as great anchors in time and wonder what wonders they have seen in their lifetimes. ✨💛🌳
